In 2015 Rebecca Wiasak won rainbows on the track and stages on the road as she seeks to make the Olympic team bound for Rio. We spoke with her to review her season.

Q. What was your highlight of 2015?
A. Becoming World Champion in the Individual Pursuit at the UCI Track World Championships in Paris in February.
Q. What was your favourite National Road Series race?
A. The National Capital Tour. I love racing at home and it was so special to win both stages on the final day of the Tour. It was also my first ever double-hand victory salute!
Q. What is your favourite High5 product?
A. It’s so difficult to choose just one favourite! I love using the IsoGel during competition and the Energy Source sports drink on any long road ride, but also love the yoghurt coated Sports Bar in berry flavour.
Q. How many High5 Gels would you estimate you used in 2015?
A. I’ll have to keep a tally in 2016 to give you a more accurate number but I’d say at least 60.
Q. What’s the biggest thing you learnt about yourself this season?
A. This season I discovered that I can endure more suffering when it helps another teammate, or the team achieve success.
Q. What’s one cool fact you learnt about a High5 Dream Team teammate?
A. Tessa Fabry is quite a talented photographer.
Q. What was the best thing about riding for the High5 Dream Team in 2015?
A. It was rewarding to finish the National Road Series as the number-one team with every rider contributing to this result. We truly do have the best in the business – the best staff, riders, sponsors and equipment.
Q. What are you most excited about heading into 2016?
A.  The Olympic Games!
