Jess Mundy had a big year in 2015 representing the team both in Australia and Europe, while winning the 2015 Australian Madison Championships (with Nettie Edmondson) and the U23 Oceania Championships Road Race along the way.

Q. What was your highlight of 2015? What was your favourite National Road Series race?

A. The Battle on the Border was my favourite tour for the NRS as we managed to have some great results as a team. We all worked really well together on the last stage of the event and capped it off as High 5 Dream Team took out the first two placing’s with myself coming second. It was a great feeling crossing the line together with Kimberley Wells. Also being able to race as part of the Subaru High 5 Australian Development Team in Europe was a great highlight.

Q. What is your favourite High5 product?

A. I really like the High 5 chocolate protein powder. It’s great to have in the summer blended with ice and banana or in winter after your ride as a hot chocolate.

Q. How many High5 Gels would you estimate you used in 2015?

A. I believe overall we would have consumed quite a number gels over all of the NRS events this year my favourite flavour being apple as well as orange.

Q. What’s the biggest thing you learnt about yourself this season?

A. You have to make the most of every opportunity that is presented to you.

Q. What’s one cool fact you learnt about a High5 Dream Team teammate?

A. Well I would say there were a few funny things I learnt about my teammates. Number one would be not to talk too much early in the morning, well only talk after everyone has had their morning coffee fix (This is coming from a non-coffee drinker). Number two is never take Donna’s marmalade to use for breakfast when there is only one jar between two cabins when she is hangry haha.

Q. What was the best thing about riding for the High5 Dream Team in 2015?

A. The great team atmosphere that we developed over the season racing with one another and our ability to work together grew as the year progressed, and along the way we picked up some great results. None of this would have been possible without the support from our awesome sponsors and staff.

Q. What are you most excited about heading into 2016?

A. Making the most of new opportunity’s and trying to better my results in events from previous years.
