On Day 4 of the 2016 Tour of America’s Dairyland, High5 Dream Team’s Kendelle Hodges stormed to a solo victory at Downtown West Bend Concourse.

With an hour of racing per day, and ten days of consecutive racing, the pace has been high and the pressure on for the elite women’s field that is made up of a number of Australian’s including Wiggle High 5’s Peta Mullens and former High5 Dream Team rider Jess Mundy.

With 25 minutes remaining in the stage, Hodges was sprinting for a prime, which she won, and managed to put a small gap into the chasing peloton.

Digging deep, Hodges pushed on and extended her gap, eventually breaking the spirit of the chasing peloton to win the stage by 38 seconds.

“I was really excited to be able to take the stage win solo! It was great to be able to share the moment with Monique Hanley, who has supported me in coming to America to race” added Hodges.

With three days of racing to go, Mullens leads the overall General Classification by one point, with Kendelle Hodges in fourth place.
