High5 Dream Team’s Georgia Baker has made the five-woman strong Team Pursuit squad to compete at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The five-member women’s endurance team features 2012 omnium bronze medallist Annette Edmondson (SA), while Melissa Hoskins (WA) and Amy Cure (TAS) return for their second Games.  Ashlee Ankudinoff (NSW) and Georgia Baker (TAS) will make their debut.

“Big congratulations to High5 Dream Team’s Georgia Baker on her selection for Rio.

“It’s an amazing journey ahead, and the team will be cheering her on!

“Special recognition also goes to Georgia’s High5 Dream Team teammate Rebecca Wiasak who missed selection – as always we are proud of her 100% commitment” added Donna Rae-Szalinski.

In a bitter-sweet day for the Dream Team, individual pursuit World Champion Rebecca Wiasak unfortunately missed out on being selected.
